This election returns database contains scanned PDF copies of substantive election returns lodged with the AEC. Facilities are available to search for returns by election year, party or by state. The majority of candidate returns are 'nil' returns. These returns are listed on this website but PDF copies are not available.
Media Returns are no longer required following legislative changes in 2006.
While all efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information in the
database the definitive information is that contained on the returns. Any information
